Tbh my mind needed it but I’d say we’re still processing all that happened there.
I sat with plant medicine 4 of the 7 nights. A journey that’s hard to explain to those who have never experienced it.
More to come on this… but for now enjoy my view from Playa Mansita ✨
Taking a break from the constant buzz of social media and everyday life to immerse oneself in a healing retreat can be truly life-changing. From my week in Costa Rica, I can share that the experience with plant medicine was deeply introspective and emotionally intense. Sitting with the medicine for four of the seven nights allowed me to confront emotions and thoughts that are hard to articulate to those unfamiliar with the practice. The setting of Playa Mansita, known for its tranquil beaches and vibrant natural beauty, perfectly complemented the internal journey. Nature played a crucial role in grounding me, offering moments of calm and clarity after the powerful sessions. It’s important to approach plant medicine with respect, preparation, and an open mind, as each person’s experience can vary widely. One striking aspect was the sense of disconnect from the fast pace of daily life, highlighted by the feeling of ‘disappearing’ from social media and modern distractions. This digital detox helped me tune into my inner self and the present moment. For anyone considering similar plant medicine journeys, it's vital to allow time to process and integrate the insights gained, rather than rushing back to usual routines. This retreat was not just about the medicine but also about the holistic experience—cultural immersion, serene environment, and the supportive community around. Sharing this journey has been helpful for me, especially as I continue to make sense of the profound effects it left on my mind and heart.
