Graveyard Keeper 2 is confirmed!
This is what the official announcement says: "Build machinery, automate production, and lead your undead army into battle to save the Kingdom from the zombie apocalypse, crafting armour and training your intellectually-challenged troops to slash your way to victory.
Rebuild the Town, turning the townsfolks’ problems into pure profit, using zombie-based automation to create a large-scale operation.
…oh, and someone’s going to need to manage the graveyard, of course. Build and manage your own thriving business as you bury the dead and turn them into pure profit. Harvest flora and fauna to make the place look a little nicer, while you’re at it.

Are you ready?
As a longtime fan of Graveyard Keeper, the announcement of Graveyard Keeper 2 has me truly excited. The original game hooked me with its unusual blend of dark humor, medieval graveyard management, and quirky RPG elements. What makes it stand out is how it combines crafting, automation, and ethical dilemmas into the gameplay loop while never taking itself too seriously. With Graveyard Keeper 2 promising to expand on these mechanics by introducing automated production and an undead army that you can lead into battle, it sounds like the sequel is going to add an action-packed layer to the simulation genre. This new element of commanding intellectually-challenged zombie troops to fight adds a fresh strategic aspect that I can’t wait to explore. I’m especially interested in the mention of rebuilding the town and turning villagers’ problems into profit through zombie-based automation. From my experience in the first game, the way the townsfolk interact with you and the various quests helped ground the bizarre setting with some social depth. It seems like the sequel will deepen this management side, giving players more control over the in-game economy and business development. For those who’ve missed the original, this is a great time to jump in. The free availability on multiple platforms until April 13th makes it easy to experience the quirky medieval cemetery sim that introduced me to Lazy Bear Games’ distinct style. Once downloaded, it’s yours permanently, making it a valuable addition to any RPG or simulation fan’s library. If you enjoyed the pixel-art aesthetic and the dark comedic tone of the first game, expect Graveyard Keeper 2 to deliver more of the same with deeper gameplay and richer content. Don’t forget to follow Lazy Bear Games on social media and join their Discord community to stay updated on new features and release dates. Overall, Graveyard Keeper 2 appears to be a promising sequel that will satisfy fans looking for a unique mix of crafting, strategy, and management in a delightfully macabre setting. Whether you’re automating graveyard operations or leading your zombie horde to victory, this game looks poised to bring a fresh, engaging experience this year.
