Grape salad recipe 🍇
If you’ve ever been to chicken salad chick and tried the grape salad, you understand it’s addicting. I went the other day and it really sparked up my cravings. So I went on the great World Wide Web to search to find the recipe to feed into my addiction. Luckily this recipe is super easy to make, taste exactly like chicken salad chicks and it only 105 calories for a cup (which is really filling). I found this recipe on lanascooking.com.
Ingredients:
- grapes (the recipe calls for green/ red, but I just used red)
- cream cheese
- sour cream
- vanilla or almond extract
- granulated sugar
- light brown sugar (I actually skip this one because I like the salad without the brown sugar)
- chopped pecans
STEP 1. Remove the grapes from their vines. Wash thoroughly with cold water. Allow the grapes to dry completely before proceeding with the recipe.
STEP 2. Add the cream cheese and sour cream to a medium bowl. Use an electric mixer on medium-low speed (or a wooden spoon or spatula) to mix until thoroughly combined and no lumps remain.
STEP 3. Add the sugar and vanilla to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until well incorporated.
STEP 4. Add the dry grapes to the cream cheese mixture. Fold until the grapes are completely coated.
STEP 5. Cover and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least one hour and up to three hours.
STEP 6. When ready to serve, garnish with chopped pecans and brown sugar
Hope you enjoy this recipe!
