Cleaning your hair brushes regularly is essential for maintaining not just the longevity of the brushes, but also the health of your hair and scalp. When hair brushes are not cleaned, they're exposed to product buildup, dust, and oils, which can lead to dandruff and other scalp conditions. To start, remove any loose hair from the brush using a fine-tooth comb. Once cleared, create a natural cleaning solution using common household items. Combine equal parts distilled white vinegar and water in a bowl, adding a tablespoon of baking soda to help lift stubborn grime. Soak your brushes for at least 30 minutes; this allows the solution to break down the debris effectively. After soaking, gently scrub the bristles with an old toothbrush to remove any remaining dirt. Rinse thoroughly and let them air dry on a clean towel. For best results, incorporate this cleaning routine into your weekly self-care schedule to ensure your hair tools stay in their best condition. This simple practice not only keeps your brushes clean but also promotes healthier hair by preventing product transfers and bacteria build-up.

Pro tip….use a paper towel after u soak and rub back and forth and it will take the dust bunny’s off
