High stress can lead to complications, so incorporating relaxation techniques such as prenatal yoga, meditation, or gentle walks have been lifesavers for many expecting moms I know. Additionally, steering clear of heavy lifting or strenuous physical activity unless approved by your healthcare provider helps prevent injuries. Environmental factors matter too—avoiding exposure to toxic chemicals, including harsh cleaning agents and pesticides, creates a safer space for your growing baby. Some women also find that limiting screen time and getting plenty of restful sleep improves overall well-being. Ultimately, listening to your body and maintaining open communication with your healthcare provider ensures you navigate pregnancy safely. These small but essential precautions support a smooth pregnancy and healthy baby arrival, just like the advice my big sister lovingly shared with me.
