CVS ExtraBucks Deals 8/9/26 -8/15/26

Hey fellow couponers and savvy shoppers! As you saw from my latest haul, CVS is truly a goldmine for incredible savings, especially with those awesome ExtraBucks deals. I wanted to share a bit more about how I tackle my weekly CVS trips to maximize my savings, turning what could be a pricey grocery run into a super affordable stock-up! First off, understanding ExtraBucks is key. These aren't just random rewards; they're essentially store currency you earn from specific promotions. My pro tip? Always 'roll' your ExtraBucks. This means using the ExtraBucks you earned from a previous transaction to pay for your current one. This strategy helps keep your out-of-pocket cost incredibly low, sometimes even just pennies! It feels like getting paid to shop, seriously. Next up, coupon stacking! This is where the real magic happens. I always make sure to check the CVS app for digital coupons – they often pair perfectly with the weekly ad deals. Then, I look for manufacturer coupons, either from newspaper inserts or printable online. Combining a digital CVS coupon with a manufacturer coupon, and then adding in an ExtraBucks reward for purchasing specific items, is how you achieve those 'super low prices' you see in my hauls. For instance, this week, getting those Gain Flings and Gain In-Wash Scent Boosters for so little was all thanks to stacking the right coupons with the ExtraBucks offer. Let's talk about some specific deals from my haul that you can target too. The Colgate Optic White toothpaste and Irish Spring Body Wash are often part of 'spend X, get Y ExtraBucks' promotions. These are perfect items to add to reach those spending thresholds because they're household staples. And who doesn't love a good BOGO deal like the Lysol Disinfecting Wipes? Stocking up on cleaning essentials when they're buy one, get one free is a no-brainer for me. I also always keep an eye out for deals on items like Dawn Powerwash and Raw Sugar Hand Wash; they might not always be the headliner, but with the right coupons and ExtraBucks, they can be nearly free! And don't forget another secret weapon: Ibotta! After I've completed my CVS transactions and used all my coupons and ExtraBucks, I always scan my receipt with Ibotta. Often, there are additional cashback offers for products I've already bought, like specific brands of toothpaste or body wash. It's like double-dipping on your savings, and it adds up fast! If you're not using it, you're leaving money on the table. So, my advice? Don't be intimidated by couponing! Start small, focus on one or two deals you need, and watch how quickly your savings grow. It's so rewarding to see that total drop at the register. Happy couponing, everyone!
