Schedule while mom is at work
As a working homeschool mom, I created a schedule for my kids to follow while I’m at work. My goal was to make it easy for their caregivers to manage while ensuring it aligns with what our family’s values. Shout out to @gominno & @khanacademykids for being resources I trust with my kids!

As a working homeschool mom, it can be challenging to ensure your children are engaged and learning while you are at work. Building a structured daily schedule not only provides a sense of routine but also helps kids focus on their educational activities. In creating that schedule, consider incorporating a variety of engaging tasks that align with both their interests and learning goals. For instance, starting the day with a wake-up routine can set a positive tone. Incorporate activities like morning reading sessions followed by interactive play. Tools such as Khan Academy Kids and Gominno can be excellent resources for lesson plans tailored to young learners. It’s also essential to include breaks to prevent burnout—mitigating stress can lead to greater emotional and cognitive retention. Regular snack and nap breaks should be scheduled to keep energy levels high throughout the day. Overall, maintaining a dialogue about daily activities not only fosters responsibility but also strengthens the relationship between you and your children, even when you aren’t physically present.
