Being quick to plan something. GOD IS IN CONTROL
Hey so I have an app called “Bible” and this message really stuck out to me so I thought I’ll share. Because we as humans are quick to try to figure something out or come up with a plan but whole time there’s no plan without god….sometimes we have to remember who is really in control and go from there…and the way god has been showing me that has been an interesting and amazing journey because the more I’m changing the more I realize I’m nothing w/o god. #godisteachingme #godissaying #Lemon8Diary #godbased.
Many of us are often in a rush to formulate plans for our lives. It's crucial to remember that while planning is an inherent part of our existence, ongoing trust in God's control is even more important. Philippians 2:13 emphasizes that God actively works within us, granting us the desires and capabilities to please Him. However, God’s guidance sometimes requires reorientation of our plans. This can be a challenging concept, especially when our desires don’t align with what we believe is His purpose. It’s helpful to take a step back and reflect on past experiences where unexpected outcomes revealed a greater good. Jesus epitomized this surrender by sacrificing His own plans for our benefit. His life and subsequent sacrifice illustrate how following God's will, even when it diverges from our personal wants, can lead to transformative outcomes in our lives. This surrender nurtures our spiritual growth and enhances our faith. We can illustrate this by maintaining a list of personal dreams before God, visualizing giving these aspirations over to Him, and trusting in His divine plan for our journey. This exercise not only lightens our burden but deepens our reliance on His guidance.
