From what I've learned, spirit is essentially the echoed personality or consciousness of someone who has passed on, manifesting as a frequency or presence you might 'communicate' with. On the other hand, energy is more about the conserved capacity for change, interaction, and motion—it is dynamic and transformational. One practical way I differentiate them during meditation or spiritual sessions is by paying attention to the quality of the experience. When I sense spirit, it often feels distinct and personal, sometimes accompanied by insights or messages that resonate with specific memories or relationships. Energy, conversely, feels more like a flowing or shifting force around me, affecting my mood or physical sensations rather than conveying direct communication. Understanding this difference helped me ground my energy work much better. Rather than assuming every heightened feeling or sensation is spirit, I learned to observe and validate what I was experiencing, ensuring that I don't misinterpret general energetic shifts for spirit communication. This approach makes spiritual sessions more focused and effective. If you're exploring this yourself, try to keep in mind that spirit communication is about assisting with information and insights from an echoed consciousness, while energy involves transformation and motion around you. Both are valuable but distinct facets of spiritual practice. Attending guided sessions or workshops can really help clarify these differences through shared experiences and expert guidance.
