Enough is enough, home training and “what will people say” can only take me so far. I need money.
Watching the Netflix documentary that shares my hidden stories was an eye-opening experience. For years, I kept these stories to myself, partly due to fear of judgment and societal pressure from "what will people say." It felt like home training and trying to meet other people's expectations were limiting my potential, especially financially. Accepting that I needed money and a new approach was a turning point. I remember feeling both nervous and relieved showing up to tell my truth on camera. Each story was a piece of my past that I now realize could have brought significant opportunities — maybe even making me a millionaire. The documentary shed light on how personal narratives often remain buried because of stigma or shame, but sharing them can empower not only oneself but also others facing similar struggles. From a personal perspective, embracing vulnerability in a public forum changed my mindset about success and money. It’s not just about the dollar amount but reclaiming control over my story, refusing to hide behind fear or societal expectations any longer. For anyone feeling stuck in their current situation, showing up honestly—whether to a camera, friends, or yourself—can be transformative and a step toward financial and emotional freedom.
