Makeup I'm obsessed with & you should be too...

I have found my happy brands when it comes to eyeshadow & I don't think anyone can change my mind. I love a lot of other brands too, but these are really sticking to my mind still.

I wish I could find more mascaras that would speak to me, but I am too damn picky for mascara. I almost love this Melt Cosmetics mascara 100%, but I have to pump air into it before using it otherwise it's not the perfect consistency for me.

... Read moreOver the years, I've become incredibly selective with my makeup products, especially when it comes to eyeshadows and mascaras. After testing countless brands, a few have truly won my heart and continue to stand out with their unique qualities. The Noiricorn eyeshadow palettes really captivated me with their shifty shimmers, multi-chrome shades, and buttery textures — they offer an otherworldly metallic finish that feels special yet wearable. What I love most is the minimal fall-out, which I manage easily by doing my eye makeup first and finishing with a base, a technique that helps pigments stay bright and fresh all day long. Similarly, Udeartaly Cosmetics has introduced palettes like Night Terror that made me reconsider my previous favorites. The pigmentation and blendability of these formulas are impressive, and they hold their color well throughout the day. I appreciate how these indie brands bring creativity and quality into their products, making them exciting additions to my makeup collection. As for mascara, my choices are far more limited because I'm quite picky. Melt Cosmetics' Supernatural Lash Mascara, from the Beetlejuice Collection, has been my go-to since launch. It offers excellent volume, length, and separation without any clumping. The texture is perfect once I pump air into the tube a few times to get the right consistency. Although it’s not waterproof, it wears long and keeps lashes feeling touchable rather than stiff. What I find fascinating is that these products don’t just look great but also perform consistently well, matching my day-to-night needs. If you're someone who loves creamy, blendable eyeshadows with exciting finishes or a mascara that balances volume and separation, these are definitely worth trying. Keep in mind, sometimes a small tip — like prepping your mascara by pumping air in — can make all the difference. Makeup is deeply personal, and while I have my favorites, I encourage exploring these brands, especially indie creators, because they often offer unique textures and color stories that might just become your new obsessions too. Plus, trying new products keeps your routine fresh and exciting, building confidence with colors and finishes that speak to your personality.
