A SNAKE IN OUR KITCHEN?!??? True story
When we did the home inspection for our house they found a black snake in the crawl space. Months later during renovations when we had an entire construction crew here working in the house and crawl space, no one ever saw the snake. So we assumed it got scared off because of all the noise.
Fast forward to a few months after our renovation, we’re living in the house and things are going great. I go into the kitchen to start dinner and there is a GIANT black snake in my kitchen. I freaked out. The snake crawled into a closed cabinet and we got out of the house until my husband caught it.
Turns out our contractor didn’t seal around the kitchen sink drain pipe that goes through the bottom of the cabinet under the sink and into the crawl space 🙃🙃 It’s sealed now lol
Moral of the story: make sure that’s sealed if you have a crawl space! Otherwise you might have an unexpected visitor 😅
