Why You see No Progress

To my private clients, one of the first things I ask them to do is cut communication. If you are truly trying to heal then you know there is a portion of this journey that has to be dedicated to you. The false connections are just a bandaid over a bullet wound.

At some point, you will be ready to date again (you don’t have to be completely healed) but you do have to be aware or you will continue to repeat the same patterns.

If you are ready to create safety in your body and heal your wounds, sign up for my free masterclass. Space is limited and it is filling up!

Cutting communication is crucial because it helps you eliminate the "false connections" that act like bandaids on deep emotional wounds. These false ties may temporarily dull the pain but ultimately prevent true healing from taking root. Healing is an active, sometimes uncomfortable journey where dedicating time solely to yourself becomes paramount. It's important to realize that healing doesn't mean being perfectly whole before moving forward; rather, it means having the awareness to recognize patterns that have caused past pain and being intentional in breaking them. Many people jump too quickly into dating or forming new relationships as a form of distraction or quick fix. This can lead to repeating the same mistakes and emotional setbacks. Taking the time to build safety within your body — emotionally and physically — creates a strong foundation for healthier future relationships. If you’re struggling to see progress, try intentional self-reflection and limit unnecessary interactions that drain your energy or tether you to old wounds. Practices such as mindfulness, journaling, or seeking professional guidance can deepen your understanding of personal boundaries and emotional triggers. Remember, healing is not linear. Progress comes gradually when you commit to creating a safe space for yourself and embracing the discomfort that comes with growth. Participating in supportive communities or guided classes — like the free masterclass mentioned — can offer valuable tools and encouragement on this path. Taking ownership of your healing journey empowers you to break the cycle and cultivate meaningful, lasting change.
