What’s the winter skincare routine ladies? #asklem

... Read moreWinter skincare is essential for maintaining healthy, glowing skin when harsh cold weather threatens to dry, irritate, and dull your complexion. During the colder months, the skin loses moisture faster due to low humidity and indoor heating, making it crucial to adapt your routine accordingly. Start with a gentle, hydrating cleanser that removes impurities without stripping away natural oils. Avoid harsh cleansers that can worsen dryness. Follow with a rich moisturizer packed with nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and glycerin to lock in moisture and repair the skin barrier. Applying moisturizers while your skin is still damp enhances hydration. Don’t skip sunscreen, even in winter. UV rays can penetrate clouds and reflect off snow, causing damage and premature aging. Opt for a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher that suits your skin type. Incorporating nourishing facial oils or serums, especially those with antioxidants like vitamin C and E, helps combat dryness and environmental damage. Exfoliation should be done sparingly with gentle acids to remove dead skin cells and promote renewal without causing irritation. For those with darker skin tones, extra attention to hydration and protection from hyperpigmentation is important. Avoid products that cause dryness or sensitivity and focus on healing and brightening formulations. Hydration also comes from within, so drinking plenty of water and maintaining a balanced diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants supports healthy skin from the inside out. By understanding and adjusting your winter skincare routine thoughtfully, you can keep your skin looking fresh, radiant, and comfortable all season long.

I’ve been using Bubble, to be honest. I really enjoy it and it makes my skin feel good. I have sensitive skin so finding products that work is hard. I really don’t change my skin routine based on the season. 😭
