Feeding time
I love watching them run up to me. My kids adore the animals and I think they adore us too! I always knew I would have a small farm just didn’t expect it to be so sweet! I wake up and drink coffee with my animals, if I don’t immediately head to the garden 🪴 🐐 🐓 I can live with this adulthood #lifeonthefarm #farmvibes
Living on a small farm offers a unique blend of responsibilities and rewards that many city dwellers dream about. Beyond just the idyllic scenes of animals running up to greet you, it fosters a deep connection with nature and a slower pace of life that refreshes the soul. Waking up to coffee alongside your goats and chickens isn't just a routine, but a therapeutic ritual that sets a positive tone for the day. Engaging with farm animals daily teaches valuable lessons in patience, empathy, and the cycle of life. Kids interacting with the animals often develop a sense of responsibility as they learn to care for living creatures, which can enrich their emotional growth immensely. The garden becomes another haven where nurturing plants parallels caring for animals, making each day fulfilling and productive. Farm life isn’t without its challenges—early mornings, seasonal work, and sometimes unpredictable weather—but the rewards are found in the simple pleasures and the strong bonds formed between family members and their animals. Embracing #farmvibes means appreciating the hard work as well as the fun, whether it's collecting fresh eggs, watching goats play, or harvesting homegrown vegetables. For those considering a similar lifestyle, it’s important to start small and build gradually. Learn from local farmers, explore resources on animal care and sustainable gardening, and most importantly, enjoy the sweet moments that come with living close to nature. This lifestyle is a beautiful example of adulthood filled with joy, purpose, and connection.
