HOW I FOUND MY PERSONAL AESTHETIC
💭Think for a moment: As a child you usually wear what was bought for you, what was passed down to you from your siblings, or whatever was made available for you.
Sometimes you had a say in your style and sometimes not. Sometimes you were inspired by someone in your life.
❔Question: Who inspires you?
I knew from a little girl that I wanted to be as stylish and classy as my beautiful grandmother.
From head to toe she was always dressed to impress even to go to the grocery store. From her hats down to her beautiful pumps, her look was styled and well put together and I loved it!
❕We aren’t children anymore, now what?
I’m not a child anymore, so how did I determine what MY style would be.

I asked myself three questions:
Who am I?
What do I want to communicate wherever I go?
What does this piece add or subtract from look?

Begin decluttering items that no longer resonate with you, making space for pieces that align with your vision.
