Porkchop Marinade 🤤

Recipe-

•1/3 cup soy sauce

•2 tbsp brown sugar

•2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

•1 tsp Dijon mustard

•1-2 tbsp minced garlic

•fresh ground black pepper to taste

Place 3-5 chops of your choice in a ziploc bag or Tupperware container with a lid. (I used 3 boneless center cut loin) whisk all ingredients together and pour over the meat. Massage and Let marinade in fridge for at least 2 hrs (I did 4). I grilled these over high heat for about 7 min per side & served them with buttered noddles and steamed broccoli. You don’t need to go overboard with the sides on this one because the meat has so much flavor of its own. I normally don’t like porkchops but this was definitely something I’ll make again.

... Read moreMarinating porkchops is a fantastic way to enhance their natural flavor and tenderness, especially when using a well-balanced marinade like this one that combines savory, sweet, and tangy elements. The key ingredients such as soy sauce provide umami richness, while brown sugar adds a subtle sweetness that helps caramelize the pork during grilling. Worcestershire sauce contributes a depth of flavor with its complex blend of vinegar, molasses, and spices. Dijon mustard adds a mild tang and slight heat, complementing the garlic's pungency and fresh ground black pepper's sharpness. For best results, it’s important to marinate the porkchops for a sufficient duration—at least two hours allows enough time for the flavors to penetrate the meat, but letting it sit for four hours, as highlighted in the recipe, can make the pork even more tender and infused. When grilling, cooking over high heat for about 7 minutes per side creates a nicely seared exterior while maintaining juiciness inside. Pairing these porkchops with simple sides like buttered noodles and steamed broccoli balances the robust flavors of the meat without overwhelming the palate. Buttered noodles provide a comforting, mild starch that soaks up the juices, while broccoli adds a fresh and nutritious contrast. This marinade is versatile and can also be adapted by adding other herbs or spices such as rosemary, thyme, or smoked paprika for different flavor profiles. Using boneless center-cut pork loin chops, as suggested, ensures even cooking and ease of eating. Whether you are a seasoned home chef or a casual cook, this marinade strategy helps to transform average porkchops into a delicious, crave-worthy dinner option.
