When AI translates everything, why do we still have to be good at English?

When AI has a lot of data, what skills do humans need?

When AI replaces our work - then what value do we still have left?

Nowadays, AI tools translate languages almost perfectly.

So if we could just "translate the language" -

That ability may be almost meaningless anymore.

Now many companies (including myself)

No need for translation.

Use the AI draft first and show you another neatness - that's enough.

In the AI-era world, what separates "professional" from "common people"

At these 4 words

1️⃣ Knowledge - Understand the real content. Know what's important.

2️⃣ Analytical Skill - Analyze and Synthesize Data to Match the Listener's Mind

3️⃣ Connection - Build trust and relationships with people.

4️⃣ Communication - Convey what is known to people to understand and amenable.

Especially in law and compliance.

AI still cannot understand the Thai legal system deep enough.

Because it's complicated and connects multiple agencies.

Many times, the English translation has not even updated.

So I always have to tell the outside city that

"Don't believe the translation too much. Better ask me."

It is here that "people" still have the advantage.

Especially people who use both Thai and English well.

Because if only one language is good, there are functional constraints.

And finally...

What AI still can't replace is the "art of communication."

Good Skill Communication Is Not Just Talking Good

It is to communicate with the audience, culture and timing.

Especially when there are new laws - we have to convey to people understanding.

Short, concise, courteous and accessible to the audience.

No one was good on the first day.

But everyone starts with "observation + actual communication."
