I MADE IT TO 5k!!
I made it to 5000 subs on YouTube this weekend and I’ve never been happier!! 🥹🩷 I finally hit my goal of this year!! I started my year with under 1,000 subs on all platforms… and I’m just happy to see my growth. In celebration of hitting my yearly goal, my friend printed me out my very own YouTube plaque for hitting my goal this year.
I hope to keep growing my little channel so that I can get a real one some day, but this right here was what I was striving for. Love you guys!! If you’d like to check out my account, it’s in my bio ☺️ @Nina Gabriella

Wow, it still feels surreal looking at that custom plaque! When I first started my YouTube channel, passing 5,000 subscribers seemed like a distant dream. For many of us starting out, even getting 100 views feels like a huge accomplishment, let alone hitting 5,000 subs. But I wanted to share a bit more about how I managed to grow so much this year, especially from being under 1,000. It definitely wasn't overnight magic, believe me! One of the biggest things was consistency. I know everyone says it, but it's true. I tried to stick to a regular upload schedule, even when life got crazy. My content isn't super professional, but I focused on sharing things I genuinely loved and found interesting. People connect with authenticity, and I think that helped build a loyal audience. Another huge factor was listening to my audience. I kept an eye on comments and tried to respond to as many as possible. When people asked for specific videos or had questions, I took notes. This helped me create content that resonated, which I think is key for passing 5,000 subscribers on YouTube. I also realized the importance of community. Interacting with other small creators, leaving genuine comments on their videos, and collaborating (even just virtually) helped expose my channel to new viewers. It felt less like a competition and more like a shared journey. Don't get me wrong, there were times I felt completely discouraged. Videos would flop, and I'd question if it was all worth it. But looking at that pink plaque, knowing I achieved *passing 5,000 subscribers YouTube*, reminds me that persistence pays off. For anyone out there dreaming of reaching their first 1k, or even 5k like I did, here are my quick tips: Find your niche: What do you genuinely love talking about? Your passion will shine through. Be authentic: People connect with realness and personality. Don't try to be someone you're not. Engage: Talk to your viewers! Respond to comments, ask questions, build a relationship. Learn basic SEO: Titles, descriptions, and tags matter. Research what keywords people are searching for. Don't compare yourself: Everyone's journey is different. Focus on your own growth. Celebrate small wins!: Even getting 100 views felt huge once. Acknowledge your progress. This journey to passing 5,000 subscribers has taught me so much, not just about content creation but about myself. It's truly a marathon, not a sprint. And getting that custom plaque inscribed 'Presented to theninagabriella for passing 5,000 subscribers YouTube' after all the hard work? Pure joy! It serves as a constant reminder of how far I've come. Now, onto the next goal and hopefully, a real YouTube Silver Play Button someday! What are your YouTube goals?
