Starting dating apps at 37

I’m 37, and I’ve never been on dating apps before.

I spent 13 years in one relationship, believing loyalty meant endurance and love meant self-erasure.

Turns out, it doesn’t.

Over the past year, I chose myself. I stopped shrinking.

I stopped self-sacrificing.

With that clarity came a realization:

I can do better—because I am better now.

I ended that 13 year relationship, moved from Italy to California, and started focusing on my career, my wants, and my future.

I’ve been putting in the work (physically and mentally) to be ready for the person that will feel like home. I booked a photoshoot session this month, and this February, I’m dating intentionally and joining Hinge, Bumble, and a few carefully chosen others—for the first time.

For those with App experience: any advice for a woman dating to marry? 🙂
