Life With Kids : Daily Chaos Chronicles

I took this first picture on a solo hike in my single mom era. The weekends I didn’t have my kids I loved to get out. I came across this perfect little bridge where the trail had broken down and I just knew it would make the perfect backdrop one day!!!

So here it is and it fits this theme so perfectly.

Someone took the time.

✅ 1. start with self care!

Wake up, water, workout, shower, get ready!

Self care and putting yourself first as a caregiver matters.

✅ 2. A big breakfast makes a big difference! Some days are a quick bowl of cereal though. I love to make a big breakfast at least a few times a week, but balance is important. Don’t forget to feed yourself for the day ahead!

✅ 3. Homeschool Days are fulfilling for all of us. We thrive with structure and learning all together is fun! We work together and independently to reach our goals.

I love my humble classroom. 👩‍🏫

✅ 4. We feel our feelings everyday, all the time. I advocate for everyone to have the right in communicating freely and standing up for ourselves, enforcing personal boundaries.

✅ 5. Recess! We like to experience all seasons of weather. Fresh air is so so good for the soul. Grounding and connecting outside is incredibly refreshing.

✅ 6. Lunchtime and no perfection here! I try to aim for a good protein, veggies, fruit and a crunchy or yummy something each day! It’s a nice time to slow down.

✅ 7. Inside Independent Play, in buddies or alone, encourages everyone to have their own hobbies and interests. This is so important in allowing us all to pour into what we’re passionate about. Mine is studio time!!

8✅ Rest and Reset!! Sit down and enjoy life. Use this time to plan the week and month. Schedule vacations and seasonal activities, budget, work, watch the latest streaming show or learn a new hobby!
