In n Out Inspired double double 😋

The husband was wanting in n out so I figured why not take a shot at it! I got nooo complaints lol he loved it! He’s not a fan of the fries hence the chips but overall the burgers were a 10/10! Juicy & perfectly cooked 🫶🏾🍔

Ingredients:

Patties:

• 1 lb ground beef (80/20)

• Salt & pepper

• American sliced cheese

• Yellow mustard

Burger:

• Burger buns

• Iceberg lettuce

• Tomato slices

• Pickles (optional)

Spread:

• 1/2 cup mayo

• 2 tbsp ketchup

• 1 tbsp sweet relish

• 1/2 tsp sugar

• 1/4 cup grilled onions

Grilled Onions:

• 1 chopped onion

• 1 tbsp butter or oil

• Salt

Instructions:

1. Cook onions in butter/oil on low heat until golden (10–15 mins).

2. Mix spread ingredients. Chill.

3. Shape 2 thin patties, season with salt & pepper.

4. Toast buns until golden.

5. Cook patties on hot skillet. After flipping, squirt mustard on each and top with cheese.

6. Assemble:

• Bottom bun

• Spread

• Lettuce + tomato

• 2 cheese-covered patties

• Grilled onions

• More spread (optional)

• Top bun
