I can’t believe I waited this long!
Sumo Citrus has been available in the US since around 2011 and I have seen ads for recipes created just for these absolutely amazing oranges but I hadn’t tasted one until just a few moments ago.
I don’t think there is an appropriate way to express in words just how yummy and drool worthy these oranges are. Not only is the taste exactly what you want an orange 🍊 to be it’s also easy to peel and removing the excess thin skins from the fruit is nearly effortless. I usually complain (mentally) about getting orange skins under my nails but that wasn’t even a factor. Never have I peeled an orange with my bare hands so simply. Amazing!
Now, I want to find and experiment with a muffin recipe or something but there is always the possibility that if I don’t do that immediately upon purchasing the Sumos the recipe will not get made because I will just eat them alone and not have a single regret. 😂
