A MESSAGE FOR THE COLLECTIVE

COLLECTIVE READING FOR 04/27/26

DECK USED: Magical Spirit Oracle: The Brilliance of You by Alexis Rakun

CARD PULLED: 38 - The Alchemist

MESSAGE: Spirit has given me a powerful message this Monday to help start your week off right. And it feels intentional. Monday is its own kind of threshold, the moment each week where we choose who we are going to be and how we are going to meet what's ahead. The Alchemist showing up today feels like Spirit saying: you have everything you need to walk forward. This card is about empowerment. About turning pain into fuel and using it to power your rise.

A person who is brave, someone you might call a hero or an inspiration, has learned one thing that you can too: how to alchemize their struggles and pain into the fuel that keeps them moving forward. Every setback is a lesson. Every time you fall and get back up is active alchemization. Bravery isn't the absence of fear. It's taking action even with fear coiled in the pit of your stomach.

Those of us who have healed and are rising aren't here because we didn't struggle. We're here because we never gave up. We learned to keep walking even through the darkness, even when the light was miles away and we couldn't see it in the distance. If you are someone who has been doing that, Spirit is encouraging you to keep going. Keep pushing forward and don't give up. If you are someone still learning to do this, Spirit wants you to know that the power to do so already lives inside you.

It's okay to have moments. To slow down. To stop and rest. Self-compassion is required on the journey of healing and life, but be careful not to let it slide into self-pity. One will help you move forward. The other keeps you trapped in victimhood, unable to free yourself from the chains that bind you.

Everyone is born with the capability to create magic in their lives. Even those of us not born into privilege still carry the power to achieve miraculous things. Keep healing. When we heal ourselves, we heal the collective energy around us. Your journey may one day help others find their way. Nothing you have been through is without purpose, because even the most senseless pain can reveal just how strong you truly are. To endure great hardship and still be here, still be taking steps forward, takes an immense amount of inner strength. And if you are reading this, if you are still here and still moving, then know this: you are a hero. An inspiration in the making.

If you need a little help feeling this message in your body, Alexis provides an affirmation for us: "I light the spark of power and strength within my heart." Repeat it to yourself until it begins to feel true. You've got this. All it takes is one small step at a time, and you don't have to take them all at once.

... Read moreDrawing from my own experiences, I've found that embracing the mindset of the Alchemist can truly transform how we approach life's challenges. When faced with setbacks, it’s easy to get caught in frustration or discouragement, but seeing every hardship as fuel for growth shifts the whole perspective. For example, I recall a period when I was overwhelmed by failure, yet consciously choosing to treat each obstacle as a lesson helped me build resilience and moved me forward more purposefully. The idea of alchemizing pain into empowerment isn’t just metaphorical—it’s an active process. It involves acknowledging fear and discomfort but continuing to act in spite of them. This approach aligns with the card’s message that bravery is not about being fearless, but about action in the presence of fear. I also deeply resonate with the caution about self-compassion versus self-pity. Practicing kindness towards myself gave me the grace to pause and recharge without slipping into negativity. Setting gentle boundaries during difficult times allowed healing to take place, preventing burnout. Furthermore, I’ve witnessed how individual healing impacts collective energy. When we confront our wounds and grow through them, we unconsciously inspire others facing their own struggles. The affirmation, “I light the spark of power and strength within my heart,” became a personal mantra that re-centered me during tough moments. This reading reminds us all: resilience is cultivated step-by-step, and both rest and forward movement are vital. By embracing our inner alchemist, we unlock the power to rise stronger, inspire others, and heal collectively.
