The Reason You Struggle To Get Consistent
If learning languages is really important to you, but you feel really busy, listen up!
⭐ If you don't start NOW when you're busy, you will ALWAYS give up when you're busy. ⭐
Because if you're consistent during a vacation or when you have zero plans, then later when you have two work shifts and classes to attend, you drop your entire study routine...
...and decide to focus on your language studies "later" when you have more time...
Sad to say it, but you will never reach your study goals. 🚨
Consistency isn't about being able to keep up with something when you have extra time.
▶️ Consistency is about being disciplined enough to stick with something WHEN life gets in the way.
aka how to learn without constantly losing motivation, maintain your skills, practice what you're learning, and USE it with the time you have right now.
And the thing that I teach all of my students and clients is to build consistency YOUR way and to lean into what's working for YOU.
This also means ignoring things that don't work for you as a language learner.
Do what works for you, focus on taking consistent action and making consistent progress.
And if you want my step by step roadmap for going from frustrated to fluent in ALL the languages you're learning, let me know 🥰

Many language learners struggle with consistency, especially when life gets busy. To maintain your language learning goals, it’s important to integrate practice into your everyday routine, even in small increments. Establish a daily study habit that fits into your lifestyle, making adjustments to suit your schedule. For instance, utilize short breaks for vocabulary review or practice conversations while commuting. Adaptability is key. Experiment with various learning methods until you find what resonates with you, and don’t hesitate to abandon those that don’t yield results. Leveraging technology can aid your consistency—consider language learning apps for quick drills and podcasts for immersive listening experiences. Collaborating with a language partner or joining online communities can also provide motivation and accountability. Keep in mind that progress isn’t linear; accept fluctuations in your routine, but prioritize showing up for your learning every day. By cultivating a resilient mindset and focusing on consistent action, you can navigate the challenges of language acquisition successfully.
