Too many resources? Feeling overwhelmed?
I know it's not just me! 😅
I am someone who loves to find new resources for learning languages, so whenever I discover a new one, I add it to my list all in Notion.
Before creating a database for my language learning resources, I was very disorganized and never knew what to choose for my studies.
I did a lot of what I like to call productive procrastination, which means that I studied, but I wasn't focused on the things that actually related to the goals I wanted to achieve for my language studies.
It was TECHNICALLY productive, but it was also procrastination lol
But now, I know exactly what each resource
is helping me to do, and I know when and how i want to use them in my language studies.
And I don't stop myself from gathering those new things.
I just make sure that l'm strategic, and potentially save them for future Bront'e to explore later 😁
My database currently tells me not just the titles of these resources and what kind of resource they are, app, textbook, Etc. I also organize it by skill focus, by language, and I include links in descriptions as well as reflections on how they've worked for me.
So when I say it's a database, I mean it's a DATABASE!
