A True Initiate🌹🙏🔥

When I was a little girl, I was sitting in church and the pastor asked who wanted to devote their life to God. No one in the entire church was ready for that commitment.

But I was.

I remember raising my hand because I felt the presence of God propelling me to be devoted to my path. I got up and walked to the woman who began praying over me and blessing my path. I could feel the sacredness of this moment. My mom didn’t come with me in that moment, and she also did not continue forward in my life either. It was a mirror reflection of going the path without her.

But what I remember was the energy of the woman praying over me. Her sincerity and me devoting my life to the path of God and truth, which I experience as the same frequency.

I don’t know how long I was up there for, but I was in front of a giant congregation of people. I remember feeling that adults were very quiet and fearful, I still experience many beings like this nowadays too, but it’s never stopped me from following my path.

Even though I am not Christian now, the path kept opening for me, not because I allowed obstacles in my life to stop me when I experienced extreme difficulty, but because I never stopped when difficulty arose.

I remember that nothing felt more important than giving my life to God, not as a sacrifice, but as my devotion and my love for what is true.

I remember as soon as I got up to the woman who was blessing me, I could feel my life was different forever. That the energy I felt was real, even if there were parts of the church I highly questioned. This experience with this woman was a pivotal initiation for my path and opened me to the frequency of God.

Since then, I have always followed the frequency of God. And I find it important that living in a modern world, it is important to also have ancient roots from the ancient paths that have forged the way.

Zen, Advaita Vedanta and The Occult since then have forged the strong foundations of my path, but it all started originally in Church.

How did your path begin? I hope to hear from you in the comments if you feel to share🌹🪔

The essence of commitment, as described, resonates with how life continuously challenges us to remain steadfast in our spiritual practice, whether through traditional religion, philosophy, or personal awakening. From my perspective, initiation is less about external rituals and more about the internal transformation fueled by intention and courage. The energy described in the original story—feeling propelled by a sacred force—is something I have encountered in moments of deep meditation and surrender. It’s as if an invisible frequency guides you beyond fear and uncertainty. In today’s fast-paced, modern world, combining ancient traditions like Zen and Advaita Vedanta with contemporary spiritual practices creates a powerful foundation. These paths emphasize living in the present moment, understanding the nature of self, and recognizing oneness, which enrich the journey beyond initial religious experiences. Like the author, I also found that early devotional experiences, even in contexts I later questioned, set the groundwork for exploring different dimensions of truth. Moreover, the obstacles mentioned—fear, blocked roads, and societal silence—are common experiences for many who choose unconventional spiritual paths. The insight that "obstacles do not mean the universe is redirecting you" aligns with my encounters where perseverance and faith become vital. Staying on the path despite difficulties reveals true mastery and deepens self-awareness. Ultimately, living as a true initiate means daily recommitment to your spiritual truth, allowing yourself to evolve while honoring the sacredness of each moment. Sharing your path with a community, as encouraged by the original post, can also be healing and empowering. I encourage others to reflect on their beginnings and honor that unique initiation that shaped their journey.
