Quick low calorie breakfast idea for weight loss
I just want to say how proud of myself I am that I’ve been prepping my breakfast consistently for the past 3 weeks!!! Now this meal is quick enough to where you don’t have to prep ahead if you didn’t, all you need is 20-25mins tops.
For my quiche I mixed my ingredients above into a aluminum pan. Then I cooked it in the oven for 20 mins on 395. I popped the hash browns in the airfryer for 8-10 mins. Add in some fruit of your choice on the side, more fiber.
Save this and try it next week 🥳

I'm so glad you're looking for easy, healthy low-calorie breakfast ideas! Consistency is truly key on any weight loss journey, and finding meals that fit your busy schedule without sacrificing your goals makes all the difference. My 20-minute low-calorie breakfast featuring a savory quiche, crispy hash browns, and fresh fruit has been a complete lifesaver for me. Let's talk about why this particular meal works so well. First, it’s incredibly quick and easy. The secret? Smart ingredient choices! Using liquid egg whites saves you time from cracking and separating eggs. The turkey sausage crumbles are pre-cooked, adding flavor and protein without much effort. And frozen hash browns? Pop them in the air fryer, and they're perfectly crispy in minutes. The baby spinach wilts down beautifully in the quiche, adding essential nutrients and fiber. Pairing it with fruit, like a handful of fresh blackberries, boosts your fiber intake even more, helping you feel fuller for longer – which is crucial for fat loss. For those of you focused on "low calorie breakfast meal prep," this recipe is absolutely perfect. I often make a larger batch of the quiche mixture over the weekend. Instead of one big pan, I sometimes make individual mini-quiches in a muffin tin. They bake up in about the same time and are super convenient for grabbing throughout the week. For the hash browns, you can bake a larger portion in the oven and then portion them out for daily use. Just store your prepped quiches and hash browns in airtight containers in the fridge, and they’ll be good for 3-4 days. When breakfast time rolls around, it’s just a quick reheat, add your fresh fruit, and you’re good to go! This approach takes the decision-making out of busy mornings and significantly reduces the chance of reaching for less healthy options. And what about "low calorie breakfast on the go"? Those individual quiches are your best friend here! They're perfectly portable. If you don't have access to an air fryer at work, you can always reheat the hash browns in a microwave or even enjoy them cold if you prefer. Just pack your fruit separately, and you have a complete, healthy, and satisfying meal ready wherever you are. This convenience is what makes sticking to a low-calorie diet so much more manageable. Beyond this specific meal, remember the principles behind "healthy low calorie breakfast ideas": focus on lean protein, fiber-rich vegetables and fruits, and complex carbohydrates. Other "low fat breakfast ideas" could include Greek yogurt with berries and a sprinkle of chia seeds, or overnight oats made with skim milk and a scoop of protein powder. The key is finding what you enjoy and what fits your lifestyle, ensuring it's packed with nutrients while keeping calories in check. This isn't just about weight loss; it's about building sustainable healthy habits. Give this recipe a try, and I promise your mornings (and your waistline!) will thank you!
