Why you should start lifting weights ✨
There is this stigma around women and weightlifting, and I hate it. They swear that lifting weights like make you look bulky or manly. I’ve even heard that lifting too many weights will make your butt hard! Let me say that mine definitely jiggle like an earthquake 🤭, and I’m far from being build like a man lol. Because of these stigmas, a lot of women don’t even know that there are so many benefits for us and our bodies when it comes to weightlifting. It’s how you create that toned and sculpted look to your body, especially when or after you’ve lost a lot of weight.
When you are dropping fat, you want to make sure that you’re holding onto your muscle mass or building on top of it to make sure that you keep your curves and the size and shape of your glutes .
Also, after the age of 26, our bodies stop producing collagen in the way that it used to. So getting into resistance training of some kind is a great way to combat that to keep your skin firm and tight.

Weightlifting offers numerous advantages for women, countering myths about becoming bulky. Firstly, it aids in burning more calories at rest, contributing to long-term weight loss maintenance. Secondly, you can develop strength and achieve a more toned appearance without sacrificing your feminine curves. This is crucial for women, especially post 26, when collagen production declines, impacting skin firmness. Incorporating resistance training becomes vital to support overall body composition and enhance your physical well-being. By lifting weights, not only do you promote muscle preservation during fat loss, but you also cultivate confidence and resilience in your fitness journey. Embrace the strength training lifestyle to redefine your approach to fitness and celebrate your body!
