DNF or not
Help, I am struggling to want to finish this book.
I honestly hated the first one, but loved the second and third.
This one is just falling flat for me and I don’t feel sucked in.
Should I just stop. Or bite the bullet and listen to it for 2 more hours to finish?
Deciding whether to DNF (Did Not Finish) a book, especially one that is part of a series you enjoyed previously, is a common struggle among readers. In this case, the book in question seems to be 'For Eternity' by Geneva Lee, a New York Times bestselling vampire romance series which garnered mixed feelings from fans. While you loved the second and third books, this installment feels flat and uninvolving. The dilemma of pushing through or stopping can depend on what you personally want out of your reading experience. If you listen to audiobooks, as mentioned, with only about 2 hours left, you might consider if finishing could bring closure or reveal plot twists to reignite your interest. Sometimes, the final chapters can provide satisfying resolutions or character developments that make the wait worthwhile. On the other hand, if you consistently find the book uninspiring and it’s affecting your overall enjoyment, it’s perfectly fine to DNF. Many readers advocate for treating reading as a pleasure rather than a chore. The hashtag #dnfbook on social platforms highlights how normal and acceptable it is to set down a book that isn’t clicking. This particular series features themes like 'Filthy Rich Vampires,' which may appeal to paranormal romance fans, but if the execution falls short in this latest book, it might just not be the right read at this time. If you're feeling stuck, consider engaging with online book communities using hashtags like #bookhelp, #booktok, or #bookwormsoflemon8 to hear others’ opinions and experiences. They might offer perspectives that could influence your decision. Remember, reading should be a source of escape and joy. If finishing the book feels more like an obligation, taking a break or moving on to a different title could refresh your love for reading. Ultimately, whether you choose to DNF or finish, your reading journey is personal to you.

I’d say just finish it since you’re so close to being done
