potential reads within this year
Just showing off some books I honestly shouldn't have bought but I'm glad I did. My library is freakin' stickin' full of books I know I'll enjoy reading to you guys. I wont stop my hobby till one or two things happen, 1. Im too poor to keep clipchamp or 2. I read all my books and im done with reading in this way.
Building a personal library is more than just collecting books—it's about curating stories that inspire and entertain. I can relate to the thrill of buying books you might not have planned for but end up cherishing. One title that really stands out for me recently is "Uni the Unicorn" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, illustrated by Brigette Barrager. It’s a beautiful children’s book that combines themes of believing in magic with stunning artwork, making it a timeless read for both kids and adults. Reading these imaginative stories sparked my rediscovery of why I love collecting books in the first place. Despite the challenge of balancing expenses, the joy of flipping through pages filled with adventure and hope always keeps me coming back. Moreover, growing my library has been a continuous journey—there are always new books to explore, from good kids’ books to adult fiction and non-fiction. If you’re building your library this year, I suggest focusing on a mix of genres and age groups. Books like "Uni the Unicorn" offer not only enjoyment but also valuable lessons on friendship and believing in oneself. Plus, sharing these stories with family or friends can make the reading experience even more rewarding. My advice: don’t hesitate to indulge in your reading hobby despite the occasional impulse buys. Those unexpected additions often become favorites. Just like the author’s spirit, keep reading until your library feels complete or until you’ve journeyed through all the worlds within your collection.
