Teriyaki Sauce ✨

This brand has really taken over my kitchen every time I try a new flavor it impresses me more and more. I’ve had the sweet chili & sweet and spicy jerk as well. They are so flavorful as is but I always add my own little razzle dazzle to anything. These seem to only be at ShopRite unless they may have it on Amazon as well. The Hawaiian is the last flavor that I have yet to try. Im going to do a pineapple bowl when I get it. With the teriyaki sauce Ive made chicken and salmon with it 10/10 😍🙌🏿

... Read moreOkay, so you've heard me rave about World Harbors Teriyaki, but let's dive a little deeper into what makes their Maui Mountain Teriyaki truly special. When I first picked up that 16 FL OZ bottle, I was instantly drawn to the promise of an 'authentic flavor.' And let me tell you, it delivers! I've tried so many teriyaki sauces over the years, but this one just hits different. It's got that perfect balance of sweet and savory, with a subtle tang that reminds me of fresh pineapple, even before I planned my pineapple bowl recipe. It really captures that island vibe, which is probably why it's called 'Maui Mountain'! I’ve personally found it incredibly versatile. While I initially fell in love with it for my chicken and salmon – seriously, it turns a simple weeknight dinner into something spectacular – I’ve started experimenting more. Beyond just marinating, which it does beautifully, making the meat incredibly tender and flavorful, I also love using it as a glaze during the last few minutes of cooking. For instance, after pan-searing chicken breasts, I'll pour a little extra Maui Mountain Teriyaki sauce over them and let it simmer until it thickens slightly. It creates this gorgeous, glossy finish that’s packed with taste. And it’s not just for proteins! I’ve tossed roasted broccoli and carrots with a tablespoon of this teriyaki sauce right before serving, and it elevates humble veggies to a whole new level. It's also fantastic as a dipping sauce for homemade spring rolls or even just some grilled shrimp. One of my favorite quick meals now involves stir-frying some bell peppers, onions, and snap peas, then adding a protein like tofu or chicken, and finishing it all off with a generous splash of this amazing sauce. You know how I mentioned adding my own 'razzle dazzle'? With this Maui Mountain Teriyaki, I sometimes like to mince a bit of fresh ginger and garlic into it, or even a squeeze of lime juice for an extra zing, especially if I'm making a stir-fry. It just enhances those beautiful, authentic flavors already present in the sauce. For my upcoming pineapple bowl, I'm thinking of grilling chunks of fresh pineapple marinated in a little bit of this sauce, then serving it with jasmine rice, grilled chicken, and a drizzle of extra Maui Mountain Teriyaki. It's going to be epic! Finding it can sometimes be a quest! As I said, I usually spot it at ShopRite, but I've heard whispers of it being available on Amazon too, which is super convenient if you don't have a ShopRite nearby. If you’re ever struggling to find the 'Maui Mountain' specifically, don’t give up hope! Sometimes smaller, specialty grocery stores stock unique brands like World Harbors. What I really appreciate about World Harbors is their commitment to unique, regional flavors. It's clear they put thought into crafting sauces that transport you, and their Maui Mountain Teriyaki is a prime example. Keep an eye out for that distinctive label with the cooked food and pineapple imagery – you won't regret picking up a bottle. Trust me, once you try this Maui Mountain Teriyaki, your kitchen will thank you!
