Where Have I Been?
I been in the gym a lot lately. Not really focusing on losing weight right now. I wanted to build consistency first. I plan on incorporating small changes at a time so that I can transition into this being a lifestyle change. I want to eat healthier and healthier over time. Stay tuned! #gym #Fitness #healthylifestyle #health
Starting a fitness routine can be daunting, especially if your main goal isn’t just weight loss but building lasting habits. From my experience, prioritizing consistency over quick results has made all the difference. Instead of jumping straight into a strict diet or intense workouts, I allowed myself to ease into the changes. This approach not only reduced burnout but also helped me maintain motivation daily. One small change I incorporated was focusing on the quality of my workouts—making sure I was actually moving and challenging my body, rather than just checking the box. The workout session I titled "WORKOUT TODAY DAY STE VE MO" on my schedule became a personal checkpoint to keep me accountable. Alongside my gym sessions, I also started making incremental adjustments to my nutrition, aiming to eat healthier bit by bit. This way, I avoided overwhelming myself with sudden restrictive diets. For instance, I replaced sugary drinks with water gradually and increased my intake of fruits and vegetables each week. This strategy helped me cultivate a healthier lifestyle that feels sustainable and enjoyable. The key is to celebrate small victories and understand that lifestyle changes are a marathon, not a sprint. If you’re just starting or struggling to keep up, focus on consistency like I did. Remember, every little effort counts toward a better, healthier you.
