I’ve found that my plants really flourish when I pay close attention to their individual needs, especially lighting and watering routines. For example, arugula, like the FERRY-MORSE lettuce variety, prefers consistent moisture and plenty of indirect light to thrive indoors. One of my favorite tips is to use a well-draining potting mix and to water the plants only when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Overwatering can lead to root rot, which is a common issue for leafy greens like arugula. Also, placing plants near a window with bright but filtered sunlight helps them maintain vibrant green foliage without leaf burn. Besides routine care, I make sure to occasionally rotate my plants to ensure even growth. Fertilizing every couple of weeks with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer during the growing season also boosts their health and vigor. Seeing my plants do great motivates me to experiment with different plant varieties and share tips on forums dedicated to spring flowers and greenery. Taking small steps to create an ideal environment not only enhances the beauty of your indoor garden but also provides fresh herbs and greens that you can use in the kitchen.
