SPEND THE DAY W ME AT DISNEY SPRINGS 🛍️
Okay, fellow foodies, let's talk about dining at Disney Springs! I recently spent a day there and honestly, the food scene blew me away. It's not just theme park food; it's a culinary destination in itself, offering something for every taste and budget. If you're planning a visit, you absolutely need to factor in some time to explore these incredible eateries. Let's dive into some of my absolute favorite spots, starting with the sit-down experiences. Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' is a non-negotiable for anyone craving authentic Southern comfort food. Their Fried Chicken & Doughnuts are legendary, and I highly recommend trying the Hummingbird Cake for dessert – it's pure bliss! Make sure to snag a reservation well in advance, especially for dinner. If you're looking for a lively atmosphere with a side of entertainment, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant is your spot. They have live music and Irish dancers, and their fish and chips are incredibly authentic. It’s a full experience, not just a meal. For something a bit more upscale or perfect for a date night, Wine Bar George offers a fantastic selection of wines by the glass or bottle, paired with delicious small plates and entrees. Their Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites are a personal favorite, and the ambiance is just so chic. You can spend hours here just savoring the flavors and company. Moving on to quick bites and more casual options, The Polite Pig is a must-visit for barbecue lovers. Their brisket and pulled pork are consistently tender and flavorful, and their mac and cheese is the perfect creamy side dish. It's counter-service, but the quality is top-notch. For a super customizable and quick pizza fix, Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza is always a solid choice. It's great for families or when you're in a hurry but still want something tasty. And of course, you can't go wrong with Earl of Sandwich for a hot, delicious sandwich that’s always a crowd-pleaser and a great value. Now, for my favorite part: desserts and snacks! You HAVE to try Gideon's Bakehouse. Their cookies are enormous, incredibly rich, and packed with flavor. Be prepared for a line, but trust me, it's totally worth it for that Peanut Butter Crunch or a classic Chocolate Chip Pecan cookie. Another sweet treat haven is Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew. Their donuts are so creative and delicious, and their cold brew selections are amazing. It's the perfect pick-me-up while strolling through Disney Springs. Here are a few of my top tips for dining at Disney Springs: First, always make reservations for table-service restaurants, especially for dinner or on weekends. You can easily do this through the My Disney Experience app. Second, leverage mobile ordering for quick-service spots – it saves so much time! Third, don't forget to budget, as dining can range from affordable snacks to splurge-worthy meals. Lastly, explore different areas for dining. There's so much variety from the Landing to Town Center, each offering unique culinary gems. Happy eating!
