For me, there’s something so uniquely nostalgic about a teddy bear. Mine was named 'Buttons,' and he was with me through everything – scraped knees, scary thunderstorms, even my first day of school. He truly was a symbol of security and unconditional friendship. So, what exactly do these plush pals represent? Beyond just being cute, teddy bears are powerful symbols. As we grow older, they become cherished mementos, reminding us of simpler times and the warmth of home. Legend has it, during a hunting trip, he refused to shoot a bear cub that had been tied up for him. He got permission from Roosevelt to call his new line of stuffed bears 'Teddy's Bears.' How cool is that?
