Am I growing on YOUTUBE?

Hey guys! As time grows closer to TikTok being an app, we once knew. I want to continue pivoting over to my YouTube & of course, lemon8 🤪.. so with that being said if you're a YouTuber, what are some key points to growing your channel? I don't want to necessarily grow my channel from promoting on any platform. I want to try to grow my channel solely off of YouTube alone but if you have any advice for growing it on other platforms, I'm open to all suggestions. Less help each other reach our goals. 💖 #youtubebeginner #youtubetips #growaccount #youtubeadvice #youtubetipsandtricks

... Read moreHey, I totally get where you're coming from about wanting to grow your YouTube channel organically! It's such a rewarding journey when you see those numbers climb. I actually noticed in your analytics screenshots that your Shorts are really taking off – that 62.0K views and +130 subscribers in just 6 days is absolutely incredible! It shows you're already hitting on something great there. For growing 'solely off YouTube,' as you mentioned, I've found a few key strategies that really make a difference. First off, really dial in on your niche and audience. Who are you talking to? What problems are you solving or entertainment are you providing? Once you know that, every video becomes more targeted. Think about creating content that people are actively searching for, but also content that keeps them watching. Speaking of keeping them watching, your audience retention is crucial. YouTube's algorithm loves videos that hold viewers' attention. Dive into your analytics to see exactly where people are dropping off. Is it in the first 30 seconds? Or later in the middle? This feedback is gold for improving your hooks and pacing. Another massive tip is to treat YouTube like a search engine – because it is! Pay close attention to your titles, descriptions, and tags. Research keywords related to your topic. For example, if you're doing a mukbang video like your brisket quesadilla one, think about what people would type into YouTube to find it. 'Brisket quesadilla recipe,' 'mukbang review brisket,' 'new menu item quesadilla' – these can all be great starting points. Craft compelling titles that use these keywords naturally, and write detailed descriptions that include them, too. Don't forget to use relevant tags, but don't stuff them! Your thumbnails are also your silent salespeople. They need to be eye-catching, clear, and and intriguing enough to make someone click. Bright colors, clear facial expressions (if you're on camera), and concise text can work wonders. After all, a great video won't get seen if no one clicks on it. Since your Shorts are doing so well, lean into that! Shorts are fantastic for discovery and gaining new subscribers. Continue experimenting with different styles of Shorts – quick tips, behind-the-scenes, engaging snippets from your longer videos. The goal is to get people hooked and then direct them to your main channel for deeper content. Maybe create a full mukbang video of that brisket quesadilla after a successful Short about it! Consistency is also a big one. It doesn't mean uploading daily if that's not sustainable, but rather sticking to a schedule that your audience can anticipate. Whether it's once a week or twice a month, let your viewers know when to expect new content. This builds loyalty and helps the algorithm understand your channel's rhythm. Finally, engage with your community! Respond to comments, ask questions in your videos, and build a relationship with your viewers. They are the heart of your channel, and fostering that connection can lead to incredible organic growth. It's a marathon, not a sprint, but with these strategies, you're definitely on the right track! Keep going, those 62.5K views and 241 watch hours are just the beginning!
