Additionally, consider the wind direction while positioning the decoys. Aligning them into the wind can enhance realism, prompting geese to land where you want them. Another important factor is the number of decoys. While more isn’t always better, the quantity should reflect current flock sizes spotted in the area. Many experienced hunters suggest starting with a smaller spread and expanding based on success rates. Finally, regularly check your spread's visibility. After setting up, assess how it appears from a distance. Making adjustments to improve visibility can lead to significantly better results.
