I went to the #catina in ocala florida #tacotuesday was $20 for all you can eat of 3 tacos. The chicken was TING so it was spicy. Not my style. The beef tasted like Taco Bell 🤦♀️🤦♀️. But the carnitas taco with pineapple sauce was amazing. My waitress never came back to cash me out. First tacos took over 15 minutes to come out and the place has potential. I wouldn’t go back until they hire actual staff Left sitting at the table too long and there was only one other couple eating. Not a great experience. But the taco 🌮 carnitas was great I ate 4 of them. I wouldn’t go back. But it wasn’t trash trash. I hear they have music on the weekends. Again the place was decent. I just feel I was treated a way. Cause I was alone. Staff was nice. I hope she know this isn’t a bad review. You just can’t have customers chasing you to pay and leave. Bar tender was rude and didn’t wanna be bothered cashing me out and didn’t help either. I left very not happy. So again one taco was great. But if you solo don’t waste your time if you have other places to be. Thanks 😊 anyone know a AYCE taco place in #florida ?? I wanna do more food reviews
Having visited this cantina on Taco Tuesday, I can relate to the mixed feelings about food and service. The carnitas taco with pineapple sauce was definitely a highlight—its blend of savory pork and sweet sauce created a memorable flavor that kept me coming back for more, much like the reviewer's four tacos. However, the overall dining experience was dampened by slow service and inattentive staff. It’s frustrating when you have to chase down your server just to settle your bill, especially when the place is not busy. From my own outings at similar AYCE taco spots, I’ve learned that efficient service is just as important as good food. A welcoming and attentive crew can make or break the dining experience, particularly if you’re dining alone and want a smooth visit. The bartender’s rudeness mentioned is unfortunate, as a friendly bar and service staff add significantly to the atmosphere. On the bright side, the cantina’s lively vibe with weekend music and Latin night offers potential for an enjoyable evening, especially if you go with friends or during a busier time. For those exploring Ocala or Florida for AYCE tacos, it’s worthwhile to check if the service has improved or to try other spots known for better hospitality alongside flavorful tacos. Exploring local food scenes is always an adventure, and sharing honest reviews like this helps fellow taco lovers find the perfect balance of tasty food and respectful, prompt service. If anyone knows of other AYCE taco places in Florida with a friendlier staff and quality tacos, they’d be great to check out for future reviews.
