on the 16th I got to take my (now 🥲) 11yo daughter to her first concert! She begged me for months to go see Benson Boone and I didn't think we'd be able to. Financially it was just rough. Surprising her on her birthday with tickets was everything this man performed EVERY song on his new album and a few other gems 💎 we got a comedy show and a concert all in one shot. I was thrilled and it was well worth the money 💰

I was however shocked his shirts were 50 and up and the hoodies were 125 and up. I choked a Lil. maybe its been a while since I was in the concert scene 😂

Concerts like Benson Boone's tour often combine both music and entertainment, providing fans with a unique mix of live songs from new albums and unexpected moments, like comedy interludes. This blend keeps the energy high and the audience engaged throughout the show. It is also not uncommon to find merchandise prices at concerts surprisingly high. Fans often anticipate buying a souvenir, but prices for shirts starting around $50 and hoodies at $125 can feel steep, especially to those not recently familiar with concert culture. This can be a reminder of how the live music industry supports artists, and the value placed on exclusive merchandise as part of the fan experience. Moreover, surprising a child with concert tickets, especially after months of their anticipation, creates lasting memories. It enriches their emotional connection to the music and artist, adding personal joy to the public celebration. Such experiences often contribute to a young fan’s appreciation for live music and can become cherished family stories. For those planning similar outings, it's wise to prepare both financially and emotionally for the concert environment. From ticket costs to merchandise and the overall event vibe, understanding these elements helps maximize enjoyment and minimize surprises. Ultimately, concerts remain a powerful way to connect across generations through shared music and joyful moments.
