He pursued her HEAVY! Persistent and consistent. When she finally said yes to the first date, he wined and dined her. He was a complete gentleman—she thought he was raised right. He took her to a nice restaurant and talked about his expensive hobbies—she thought he was financially secure. He shared his goals and aspirations—she thought he had ambition. He told her about his kids and how much he loved them and that they were his motivation for his grind —She thought he was the ultimate family man, provider, and overall great guy. A real catch—THE catch.
At the end of the night, he reaffirmed his interest in her and said she would fit perfectly into his life. Together, they could be a power couple. When he took her home, she was on cloud nine. It was the perfect date with the perfect man. She replayed the evening in her mind, thinking about everything he told her and how she was the missing link to his life. She imagined helping him achieve his goals and dreams while he helped with hers. She fell in love with the vision of that power couple and committed to making it a reality.
Then, she got the goodnight text. He told her how much he enjoyed the date and that he thought he found "the one" in her. He couldn't wait to see where life took them, sealing the message with a "goodnight sexy." This lit up her spirit and made her whole body tingle. The feeling was too intense to call it butterflies—that's why she was convinced God had sent her, “her person.” It was at that moment, before she closed her eyes to go to sleep, that he got her.
