Walking into my purpose
It’s a powerful POV when you realize you're almost 40 years old and finally walking into God’s design and purpose for your life. For so long, I felt like I was searching, trying on different hats, and often wondering if I was truly aligned with what I was meant to do. But lately, something has shifted, and I’ve been able to connect with my deeper calling. One of the most profound realizations has been about my internal foundation. This isn't just about what you do for a living or the roles you play; it’s about the core of who you are. It’s your values, your beliefs, your unique way of seeing the world, and what truly makes you feel alive. For me, strengthening this internal foundation meant a lot of introspection, quiet moments, and honest conversations with myself. It meant peeling back layers of expectations from others and societal pressures to find out what truly resonated within me. What are my non-negotiables? What causes ignite a fire in my belly? What kind of impact do I genuinely want to make? Alongside this, I started paying more attention to my innate talents. These aren't always the skills you’ve been formally trained in, but rather the things that come naturally to you, often with little effort. Perhaps it’s a knack for connecting with people, an intuitive understanding of complex problems, a gift for nurturing, or a creative spark that always seems to find its way out. For me, it was noticing how I naturally gravitate towards helping others find clarity and providing support, especially in challenging times. It wasn’t a skill I set out to acquire, but rather an intrinsic ability that always felt right, almost like a superpower I didn't fully acknowledge until now. As I approached my 40s, I realized these talents weren't just hobbies or casual strengths; they were signposts to my deeper purpose. Embracing God's design for my life has brought immense peace and clarity. It’s like all the pieces of the puzzle are finally starting to fit together. It’s about recognizing that there’s a greater plan at play and that my unique gifts and experiences are all part of that divine tapestry. If you’re also navigating your journey, wondering what your true calling is, I encourage you to look inward. What does your internal foundation tell you about your deepest values? What are those innate talents that bring you joy and come effortlessly? Trust that as you uncover these, you'll also begin to walk into the beautiful purpose designed just for you, no matter what age you are.
