❤️About my mischievous, smart, sweet, sleepy dog Cora:

Cora is my 6-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Redback Coonhound mix. She is a rescue from Loveland, CO. She was named Cora after the Marine Corps (my father served in the USMC and Cora is red, like the colors of the MC). Cora enjoys cuddling under blankets, long naps, chewing on bones, and chasing people around. She is the oldest and the Alpha of the pack, so she protects her siblings and takes it on herself to protect everyone in the house. Cora does not like sad movies, but especially those with Leonardo DiCaprio crying (Titanic and Blood Diamond are her least favs). She is very smart and has learned how to open gates. We often call her a "velociraptor" because she looks just like one when she is running. More than anything, Cora is defensive over her family, extremely smart, playful, and loves a good nap.
