Embracing one’s rightful place "in the room" is not just a metaphor but a call to action for many women striving for inclusion and representation. Whether in boardrooms, classrooms, or social movements, visibility matters. On International Women’s Day, taking a moment to acknowledge this intergenerational strength helps reinforce the importance of continued growth and leadership by first-gen women. From my experience, sharing stories and celebrating these achievements uplifts the entire community. It encourages young women to pursue their goals boldly, knowing they are backed by a legacy of resilience.
