The Secret Cache Project 💛

We started The Secret Cache because, by nature, we’re givers. After our second baby, we learned the art of giving in a way that keeps our own light burning — a way to spread kindness without losing ourselves in the process.

Hidden throughout Northern Illinois, you’ll find small envelopes of cash tucked inside geocaches — tokens of generosity meant to spark connection, joy, and a little surprise in the middle of an ordinary day.

And on days we’re not out hiding them, we share words from my postpartum journal — reflections from the season that taught me how hope can grow quietly. Both the hidden gifts and shared words exist to remind us that good still lives out here, often in the smallest moments.

Because even the tiniest ripple — a kind word, a hidden envelope or gift, a moment of warmth — can make the world feel lighter. 💛
