She ran to Him with the dishes still in the sink.
With the argument from last night still unresolved. With the prayer from this morning still half-finished. With the Bible she hadn’t opened in three weeks still sitting on the nightstand.
She ran anyway.
And that — THAT — is intimacy with God.
Not the version where you have it all together first. Not the version where you’ve prayed long enough, served faithfully enough, felt it deeply enough. The version where you’re a mess and you go anyway.
Hebrews 4:16 says to come boldly to the throne of grace. Not perfectly. Not prepared. Boldly — even when you’re not ready. Especially when you’re not ready.
