From personal experience, the initial discomfort and heightened awareness of the ribcage area come with dedication and consistency. After about 12 hours into this training, it’s common to start questioning and reflecting on body image, but that’s a valuable part of the journey. What I found helpful is embracing positivity about body shape while pushing through the tough phases. Accepting yourself as you are doesn’t mean you can’t pursue changes that make you feel stronger and healthier. Ribcage training, although not easy, can enhance posture, breathing capacity, and overall torso strength, leading to noticeable improvements. Integrating targeted exercises such as controlled stretching, core strengthening, and mindful breathing techniques supports ribcage mobility and endurance. Pair this with patience and a positive mindset, as progress may be gradual but rewarding. Remember, the key is consistency and self-compassion, acknowledging that body transformation is a process filled with both struggles and victories.

You can’t “train” bones. You can deform them but you can’t teach them a specific skill.
