Lashes by @Carol Lionay
Sharing my experience three weeks after my endoscopic facelift, I can say the initial recovery phase brings a mix of emotions and visible changes. At this point, swelling has reduced significantly, and I’ve noticed my features starting to settle into a natural look, which is so encouraging. It’s important to be patient and gentle with yourself during this phase. I kept a routine that balanced rest with light activities, which really seemed to aid my healing. Hydration and a clean diet also played a key role in helping my skin and tissues repair faster. I made sure to avoid any strenuous exercise or heavy facial movements to prevent stress on the healing areas. One tip I found helpful was using cold compresses during the first week post-surgery to minimize swelling and bruising, but by week three, I switched to warm compresses to encourage blood flow and reduce stiffness. Emotional ups and downs are part of the journey, so connecting with others undergoing similar procedures or following recovery blogs helped me stay positive. It’s also reassuring to have regular check-ins with my surgeon to ensure everything is healing properly. In terms of skincare, at three weeks post-op, I started incorporating gentle moisturizers and avoided any harsh chemical treatments. Protecting my skin from the sun with a high SPF sunscreen was crucial to prevent pigmentation changes. If you're considering an endoscopic facelift or are in the recovery stage, remember that results continue improving over several months, as noted by my upcoming 13-week update plans. Embrace the process, celebrate small victories, and don’t hesitate to reach out to your medical team with any concerns. Lastly, a shoutout to the little beauty boost I’ve been enjoying, like the lashes by @Carol Lionay—small touches that make you feel good during your healing journey!
