Trace Alien Earth with a place in Thailand.
The Department of Tourism launched the "Trace Alien: Earth" campaign, inviting series fans and tourists to set out to experience the actual filming locations of the giant sci-fi series from Disney +, which chose Thailand as its main locator. The first episode has already been broadcast on August 13, 2025 simultaneously around the world.
The filming of the series is the highest foreign investment in history, with a budget of over 2,800 million baht, with 24,787 Thai jobs, 13,942 film teams and 10,845 related businesses such as hotels, car rentals, restaurants and other support services.
According to Jaturant Loyvanich, Director General of the Department of Tourism, the selection of Thailand as Alien: Earth's main production base reflects the potential of the Thai film industry in all dimensions, diverse filming locations, professional teams, and a comprehensive support system, and pushes Thailand to become a truly global filming hub.
Filming in Thailand covers 7 provinces. In Bangkok, there was filming at Bang Walls Temple from Charoen Tax District, Sindhra Tower, Pathum Wan District, Neon Market and Oscar Apartments, Rajdevi District, New World Building, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok Phi Wat Central Station, Chatuchak District, Green Park Studios, Tall Bridge District, K Village, Klong Toei District, Park Origins Thongcast Project and Agong Ama House, Klong Thong District.
Samut Prakan is the main filming location, using The Studio Park, Thailand, Bang Bo District as the main production base of the series.
In Prabhek Kiri province, the team chose three hundred peaks of Bua Swamp, three hundred peaks inside Khao Khao National Park as a key scene, while Surat Thani province was filmed on Koh Tao, Koh Phong District and Khao Sak National Park, Phnom District.
Nakhon Pathom Province uses the College of Duriyam Arts, Mahidl University, Buddha District as one of the main locations. Krabi Province is filmed at Cape Tak Water Bay, inside the Nam Bok National Park, Deep Bay District.
Finally, Phang Nga Province uses the Ban Anpao and Koh Sprinkles. Koh Yao District, including Samet Nang Chee Scenic Area, Ta Kao Moor District, are important scenes that reflect the beauty of Thai nature to the eyes of audiences around the world.
