WFP collaborates with the public sector, promotes online disaster content.
WFP, in partnership with 12 government and civil society agencies, launched the "Thai Knowledge Season 2" initiative to strengthen online knowledge for people across the country, chaired by the Vice Prime Minister and the Minister of Digital for Economic and Social Affairs.
Mr. Sublime said that online threats are now more complex, especially deception through technology and artificial intelligence, so the government is rushing to enact new laws such as the Technological Crime Suppression Agency and amend the Digital Assets Law, pushing the "1 District, 1 IT Man" program to upgrade digital skills in all areas across the country.
WFP revealed that as a result of the success of the project in its first year, with over 2.5 million clips and 3,400 million views, this year has expanded the partnership to 12 agencies ready to modernize content and conform to user behavior, with a view to cultivating new, safer and knowledgeable online behavior.
This synergy is divided into three collaborative groups: the Hoax Awakening Group, which consists of the Ministry of Digital International, the Central Police Investigation Command, and the National Cyber Security Administration; the Secure Online Trading Promotion Group, with agencies such as ETDA, FDA, Consortium, CCIB, and the Consumer Enterprise Council; and the Financial and Investment Hoax Prevention Group, which includes the Bank of Thailand, the SEC, DSI, and the COFAC Project.
Tikka also drew 10 famous creators, such as Nurse, Brighten _ Studios and AMPOSSIBLE, to produce educational content with "Eh, Ask, Oh" or# HashtagChallengeTo stimulate public participation, with outstanding content having the opportunity to receive special awards.
The project aims to create a secure digital environment through easy-to-access communication and integration of information from specialist agencies so that Thais are immune and not victims of online threats in the digital age.
